    I have to say, I understand why they chose to tell Hughies tale separate of the Boys main title (although I disagree with that decision) but this is one of the better issues of the book since Hughie learned the truth about his girl.     This title started off pretty rough but has finally built to a crescendo pitch. Things are obviously never going to be the same between Hughie and Annie but at least it'll all be finished the right way. They're going to handle it like adults and it's going to be satisfying. This comic drags you through the special place in your heart reserved for bad break ups and has you cheering that maybe Hughie can do it better than the rest of us. Ennis has built a brilliant relationship here that easily holds its own on the page. Read Full Review

    Highland Laddie has not been an effective mini series up to this point. The entire mini series has been pretty much throwaway material until this issue. If you follow The Boys and are skipping this mini series you need to pick this issue up for the origin of Annie. If you are digging this mini series so far then bless you.
