Still reeling from the events of last issue, Hughie follows his boss to Washington DC, where the US military struggles to throw a ring of steel around the Capitol. Meanwhile, MM's research finally bears fruit, but with all Hell breaking loose will his discoveries come too late? Billy Butcher goes off to meet his destiny, in the penultimate part of Over the Hill with the Swords of a Thousand Men.
That all said, even though this book preaches to the converted, it's a heck of a swan song for Ennis and Braun. It takes some serious cojones to laugh in the face of death, but cojones are what The Boys do best. Read Full Review
Where exactly "The Boys" will go after the current story ends next issue is anyone's guess, but it's doubtful superheroes and mockery of them will play a large role. The series has been moving towards a larger exploration of power, the morality of a group like the Boys and brilliant character work. It's been one hell of a ride and if the remaining issues are as good as this one, it will be a shame to see it end. Read Full Review
