Hi! Here's what's going on: VAMPIRELLA found out some dudes're doing experiments on vampires and she is piiiiiiiiiiised. RED SONJA is using this as an excuse to beat the holy hell outta a buncha solider types. Many punches, many explosions, and somehow, at some point, Sonja punches through a wall.
This issue further explores the kinship between Sonja and Vampirella, delivering a story that is both violent and heartwarming in equal measure. Read Full Review
Though the larger story elements don't feel like they figure in too prominently here as it's all about the action, the book does a good job of showing us how these two work together. Sonja out of the cave and in the action has her feeling more alive than she has in a while and it's balanced against Vampirella learning some very troubling things and seeing more of her kind die before her eyes. It's a solidly done book with what it needs to achieve but it also does some great character work that has me wanting to see these two running together for a long time to come. Read Full Review
