This was my first adventure into Warlord of Mars, and while I can't say it will be my last, I can say that I just didn't enjoy it. Now, I don't have a love for John Carter like so many other people do and have had for years, so take that into account, but this book simply did not impress me. I loved the fact this book was action-packed, but that's about it. I don't understand why the women in this book are pretty much naked, I thought the story was incredibly boring, and the art was sub-par, minus a couple of panels which really stood out.
