RED SONJA (VOL. 5) #23 Review gives you everything you want in a sword-and-sandal comic. High-energy, high-tension battles, a villain you love to hate, and a satisfying conclusion. This comic is a very high recommendation. Read Full Review

Red Sonja has been delighting me since Russell took it over and each installment has been a strong one in my mind. He's got a great handle on the fantasy era that it exists in, the harshness of it, the beauty of it, and so much more. This issue takes us right up to the edge of the ending and it has some really great payoff, especially considering the hubris of so many of the cast over the past two years of issues. Magnificent. One of the best Sonja comics ever. Great art by Alessandro Miracolo and a dramatic climax to a tale that's spanned 30 issues across two series and two one-shot specials. Ignore the low review by the other reviewer, he clearly wasn't the intended audience

Snorefest, couldn't do it. Love the cover art , like all Dynamite books, but inside is a perfect example of why I tend to avoid these titles. - cvrthebard.tumblr.com
