Declan Shalvey introduces cool ideas and concepts, but the execution, both in the script and the art, is confusing and clunky. Maybe the folks working on Thundercats should ask the teams on Jonny Quest and Space Ghost what they're doing right. Read Full Review

Plot Tygra travels through a time portal to meet Claudus, Lion-O's father, in the past before Thundera was destroyed. Claudus explains to Tygra that the Third Planet where they are now was a prison full of thousands of mutants who were extradited, that this world is a danger because it is more full of enemies than they think. Claudus asks Tygra not to reveal this information to his companions. In this time travel, Tygra and Claudus face a mysterious and unknown enemy who also travels through time. What Tygra knows is that a pitched battle against the mutants is about to begin and the Base of the Thubdercats is not ready yet.
