The vicious alien Krael do not take prisoners... and yet, Stalag-X exists.
The defeated soldiers of humanity corralled together on a barren world for an unknown purpose.
One POW, Joe Human, remains a mystery to all; the only thing his fellow soldiers know of him is his last traitorous act. He "saved" them, gambling that he could cheat death-given enough time.
But this time, perhaps death would have been the easy way out-especially when Joe is singled out by a twisted Krael scientist who proudly takes the nickname "Mengele."

Behind The Panels - Richard Gray
