Seeing the puzzle come together is always a fun moment in a comic. It makes past mistakes seem to make sense. Or at least I hope they do. Thats why my review is more glowing that I ordinarily give this title. Still, with four issues to go, I hope they dont run out of steam. Read Full Review
This issue also features a new artist, Stephen Mooney (actually, his work appeared in After The Fall 6 and 7 as the artist of Connor's arc). He does a good job making the layouts easy to follow, and his likenesses are probably the strongest of the three main artists for the series. I have to say I am pretty excited about the upswing the series has taken in the last couple of issues, as it bodes well for the end of After the Fall, and whatever Aftermath will bring. As a hardcore Buffyverse fan, it's heartening to see the series improving as it continues. If future issues are of similar quality, then when the Season Six arc finishes and the series becomes "Angel: Aftermath" with #17, readers might actually be likely to stick around -- something which, in the series earlier days, was not all that certain.
