    On last week's episode of The Hour Cosmic, I recommended Cobra as my book club selection, and this week I'm doing it again. Seriously, even if you're not a fan of G.I. Joe, I promise you that if you read Cobra you will be. It's sad, ruthless, corrupt, seductive, and always just a little bit funny. It's everything you never knew you wanted from of comic inspired by a thirty year old toy line, and the best part is, it keeps getting better. Read Full Review

    While Cobra is getting into some familiar territory with another internal conflict within the organization, it does so in a way that makes so much story sense that it is hard to argue with. The characters feel real, and that makes their actions believable and compelling. Somehow, it even bypasses the usual problems with reading a series starring the villains. While I don't really sympathize with any of the characters, I do feel like I understand them. That's enough to keep me more than interested. IDW continues to handle this franchise in a way that's intelligent and entertaining. I just don't suggest jumping right into any one series just yet. Either go back to the beginning of Cobra Command or wait until it's over. Read Full Review

    Every time the GI Joe books cycle back around to Cobra is a high point for the overall story. The bad guys are just more interesting than the good guys. Honestly, I wouldn't mind just reading about Cobra a la Secret Six. Read Full Review
