If you like the series, you'll be happy with this comic. The characters are pretty much true to their portrayals on the TV Series, and the dialogue rings true. Morrison's writing is very close to the TV Show, and Dave Taylor's artwork is equally true to the source. It is not a jumping in point. I do not know if there is a 'Jumping in' point with DOCTOR WHO.
