It's worth noting that Locke and Key: Omega comes to a sooner-than-originally-planned close with this issue. The series will see its finale in two oversized issues titled Locke and Key: Alpha. This chapter, however, does not feel like the end of an arc in the slightest, but seeing how it's this freaking amazing, and the fact that the next two issues will be bigger than expected, it's tough to complain at all. Let's face facts. When it comes to horror comics, there is a lot of repetition. Themes get abused like a whore at a millionaire coke party. Abused like a heroin addict in a rugby game. Abused like my drug analogies. But, Locke and Key is original. And when you find an original horror series, you cling on to it like a lover who's just told you they are dying of cancer, and only have a few months left. Locke & Key: Omega#5 is another great issue for this series, but in no way does it feel like the end of an arc, because it's really not. The unfortunate re-branding of the final issues may make this issue's ending feel strange, but nothing's really changed. Read Full Review
