    While the lead-up to this story had been a bit lackluster, the story turns around when these teams work together to save their planet. The stakes are pretty high, and while much of the reasoning as to why any of it's happening in the first place makes little to no sense, the story is playing out in a way that's fun and even gives us hope during a time in which we are fighting our own viral pandemic.     As a big epic storyline the Metal Virus saga has been pretty exciting, but as with most stories that drag on for almost a year I'll be glad when it's finally over. Still, it's offered a lot of exciting twists. You never know who will end up contaminated by this, or make it through safely, as poor Cream ended up infected as well.
    It was inevitable that Dr. Eggman would have to swallow his pride and work with his enemies to undo his own damage. Wherever he ended up, I doubt we've heard the last of Dr. Starline. I wonder if he'll seek revenge on Dr. Eggman or redemption.
    While I do miss the Archieverse Sonic, Ian Flynn has done a good job rebuilding Sonic's world with what he had left to work with. I just can't help but wonder how t more
