Holo-Ween gets off to a really strong start with a story that immediately grips you and has you wondering what is going to happen from one page to the next. Christopher Sequeira's idea to resurrect Redjac as the villain for this book is a good one as he is an enemy that can be horrific and fun in equal measure and his ties to Jack the Ripper only add to the fun. Star Trek's holodeck has been a venue for pain and pleasure over the years. Unfortunately, it's the former here thanks to some inconsistent writing and non-detailed artwork. It's too bad, because it's a fun idea but one that is not well executed. Read Full Review
Admittedly, turning the Enterprise into a haunted house flooded with Holodeck creations could be fun, but this opening issue spends so much time having Deanna Troi drone on about the concept of fear that it forgets to be frightening or psychologically stimulating. Read Full Review
