Dec 14, 2022Despite soaking in the vibe of the Next Gen era, this issue is more action-oriented, focusing on a covert rescue mission that ends up being less undercover than intended. The visuals aren't up to the task of depicting the action, with bodies distractingly contorted after being struck by phaser fire, inappropriately over-the-top reactions, and an at least one instance where an officer trying to shield his captain looks more like he's going in for a hug.
