The action erupts onto the world stage, as MEGATRON and his DECEPTICONS stir things up in the disputed (breakaway) Soviet state of Brasnya, initiating an incendiary border conflict. Meanwhile, the AUTOBOTS-aware that one of the DECEPTICONS' (facsimile) bio-constructs is active in the area-move to intercept, setting up a truly explosive confrontation. The Transformers: Infiltration team of Simon Furman and E.J. Su continues the ongoing tale. Artist Klaus Scherwinski once again provides a variant cover for the issue, too.

Another good issue of what is becoming a thoroughly successful revamp of the Transformers in comics. Furman is telling one of the better Transformers stories in recent memory and the scene is set for the first Autobot/Decepticon battle proper on Earth with the promise of more characters being thrown into the mix. The artwork is improving and the storytelling makes for a gripping tale. The inking is still too thin for the Transformers, but Su makes them look dynamic, well except Optimus Prime. Read Full Review
