The event of the year concludes here! The Lone Gunmen have finished investigating several urban legends-a group of ghost-hunters, mutant turtles that live in the sewers, shape-changing alien robots, and a vengeful spirit from beyond the grave-after receiving Internet files from future that foretell a plague that wipes out most of humanity. Now it's a race against the clock as the Gunmen, with Agents Mulder and Scully, attempt to save the world!

Comic Booked - Errick "Mr. Enigma" Perry Apr 1, 2014

In the spirit of fun, there is an extra scene, an alternate ending in a parallel dimension, where all of the key players, (minus TMNT, Transformers, and Ghostbusters) have a metafiction moment. Until the last few pages, this one was all over the place. The story, humor, and artwork all had moments that were both brilliantly executed and painfully flat. The ending, however, is one that will stick with you long after the book has been put down. If you've been reading the whole series up to this point, the payoff at the end makes slugging through the issue's weaker aspects totally worth it. Read Full Review

Comic Book Therapy - Cody "The Thorverine" Ferrell Mar 26, 2014

Conspiracy had a great premise and some great tie-ins, but it trips at the finish line. Some inconstant art and a story that underplays the preceding stories makes this feel a little unfinished. Read Full Review
