The end of an era has arrived, as the last issue of the final ’68 miniseries was released. Things wrapped up well, and the story has finished (for now) in a way that is rather satisfying. There will be one more “last hurrah” for ’68 this year when the 10th anniversary one-shot is released. So there is one more chance to dive in headfirst to the Vietnam conflict that gets derailed by the zombie apocalypse. I have enjoyed this story since I picked up the first miniseries in trade, and from there have gotten every issue that has come out since. I think that the zombie craze has been really well handled in comics, but that a book like ’68 often gets overshadowed by that other monolithic THING that is called The Walking Dead. I hope thmore
