Bring on October and issue #6! The final panel/page for this issue is an absolute rocker and I really can't wait to see what exactly Matt and Stjepan have in store next. It was a really exciting ending and also completely unexpected, so bonus points there! Read Full Review

Aphrodite IX #5 wont change the landscape of the medium, but that is a lofty bill to complete. However, it is the product of two individuals who are clearly very passionate about the story they are telling and the work that they do. This translates to the page, as this latest installment of an already incredibly interesting series takes readers into some exciting new territory, while providing a whole lot of action and intelligent, thought-provoking material. If you haven't been following the series then this isn't a great issue to jump on board with, but I'm sure the next one will offer a place to start. Otherwise you could hit up a digital storefront and buy the back issues or wait for the trade. Whatever you do, you should definitely check this series out as it combines Sci-fi and Assassins" kind of a no-brainer to like it when I put it that way. Read Full Review
