Blackacre #3 is not without its flaws, but those are mostly to be expected. Its too early in the series for anything of gravity to truly occur, so this issue can only reach so high. But to the extent that it can, it succeeds. Read Full Review
Bourdreau and Cavalcanti keep the action at a high pace while letting us see more hardships the peasant class must endure. A truly terrifying look in to an all to possible future. Read Full Review
But you know what? I'm gonna stick this book out for a couple more issues. Like I said, I WANT to believe in it, and the potential is there to make something truly special. I mean, these guys are not fucking bad, they just need to shore up their good ideas, cut the fat and start whipping this story's ass to get it back to where it should be. If it does that, I'll be a regular citizen of BlackAcre, but until then, I'll just keep looking to the comic book Hinterlands for something better. Read Full Review
