Antonio Twistelli leans on several people to learn who destroyed his businesses and who is after him. He learns from a priest that the Vatican Secret Police are looking for someone in the Twistelli organization and will stop at nothing until they find him. The VSP is looking for someone who belongs to the ancient and ex-communicated order of the Knights of Templar. A man who has been sent to find and convert Spawn, the obsessive religious fanatic called The Curse.
