You Don't Read Comics - Russ Bickerstaff
Apr 28, 2026The latest term of events seems to be reaching some sort of big, final climax. But there's no question that things could go in a completely different direction that might develop into something much more elaborate down the line. The addition of the Stray Dogs feature at the end of the issue feels suitably monumental. Stylistically their head, always been sort of an implied shared universe between the two titles. Bringing that vividly to life is something that serves both titles quite well. It's not difficult to imagine a third title coming interview that might be more of a combination of the two ensembles. A fusion of the two series. Read Full Review

The art was perfect!! Top notch!! No complaints at all.
Most of the issue was well written.
But one element in the story was very poorly handled.

I’m sorry. But I absolutely HATE what Tony Fleecs did to poor Leland. It was cheap and manipulative. I was waiting for Leland to actually get some real character development, since he’s been getting more appearances in the past few issues. But this what they did to him was disgraceful.
If Tony Fleecs really wanted to shock us, he would have instead of taking out Leland, he would have sacrificed another character that has been with us longer, like Chloe, Gigi or even one of Gigi’s kittens. more+ Like • Comment -
