"TRASHED!" Part Three
Lost and alone, surveilled from above by forces unrevealed, on the run from hostile natives out to avenge their murdered brother, and stalked from below by the monstrous octopus, Yalafath, Chas Worthington scuttles his quest to tame and settle The Pack as merely surviving becomes the hardest task of all.
It's very obvious that there is a story here that goes beyond this whole 'Chas Worthington fakes his own death and buys an island' stuff. Although that premise, in itself, is extremely interesting, there is a great story that is just beyond that beneath the surface of this story. It's about Chas, but it's about more than that. This issue starts to explore the central character's ego and his fears while it's telling the story of the giant squid that is stalking him. This very unique and interesting premise is paired with spectacular pencils by artist Martin Morazzo who is meticulous when it comes to his attention to detail. This is a fantastic issue, but I do not recommend starting your GREAT PACIFIC adventure here, if you are interested. Definitely pick up issues one and two before you dive into this one, it will be worth it. Read Full Review
This was a quick read and not as story based as the first & second issue, but all in all a good issue. Read Full Review
This was a very good issue and it gives me hope that the series will continue to be this strong. The next issue is an important one, but this issue has left off in the perfect place for it to start so hopefully it’ll be a home run. I’m glad a series like this exists and it’s definitely something that can only exist in the world of comics. The story and art is a perfect match for each other and if you’re looking for something very different to read this week then this is it. Read Full Review
Don't get me wrong at all, the comic is entertaining, but it's definitely not what I expected and for that I'm still adjusting. That's not necessarily a bad thing though. Read Full Review
Great Pacific is a solid, quick read"it may not be among my top ten titles out right now, but it's definitely on the brink of cracking the list. Read Full Review
Great Pacific#3 plants some seeds that could prove interesting later on, but if you've been on the fence about this series you may not have the patience to stick it out much longer. Especially if Martn Morazzo doesn't get more to work with. Read Full Review
I'm impressed so far and hoping that this series is able to maintain the level of quality it currently displays.
