I don't know how much control Kirkman had over the direction of this miniseries, but Cereno and Bellegarde have done more to make me understand and like Atom Eve than Kirkman has managed in almost fifty issues of the parent series. The second part was okay too. But I don't know... I don't think it's fair to compare the original story with the show, but the show reeeeeally made the story more solid. It feels kinda rushed here. But I'm glad most of the ideas I liked about that story are in the original comic book as well. Also lol, these Invincible back-ups here are kinda too pointless so they aren't even funny. The one in the show was funny though. It was a great contrast to show how much Eve already had to endure, when Mark was just spending his time being silly.
