Alright, I think I'm there now folks. I think that I am a believer in this book. I wasn't sure after issue #1, but last issue was a step in the right direction. And this issue, Phil Hester showed me it doesn't have to be about throwing everybody into the story for something big and bombastic. He showed me that he can strip these issues down to just being about one character and still make them entertaining. If the Invincible Universe continues to deliver issues like this one, then I'll be sticking with them for as long as they have stories to tell. Read Full Review
Invincible Universe#3 is a good done-in-one story. While it doesn't feel completely essential to the series, it's a great introduction to Chupacabra's character. Read Full Review

"Invincible Universe" is a much different book from its previous incarnation than we might have expected, but if it continues to tell solid stories with strong art like this, it has a good chance to be around for a long time. Read Full Review
It was a good thing to elaborate on Cast Iron a bit more. Why not? And if not here, then where? Overall it was okay.
