I have been reading a lot of dark and morbid comics as of late. Reading Punks The Comic was a nice kick to my nuts in providing me a boost of fun and frolic from the dark and disturbed. It was just the shot that I needed, and it didn't even hurt. Well, it might hurt a little. PUNKS is everything you've been told a comic shouldn't be, but rules were meant to be triumphantly broken. That's what this series does and it does it well. This particular issue, like the others is outright insanity, but that's what I love about it. If you like to laugh and really want to read something that's fun, but fun in more of an adult way, this is the route to go. Also, any book that puts their creators in the issue is alright by me. In the reprint story, Punks proves that it was ahead its time, literally. I think Punks: The Comics may be trying to match its own surreal and cockamamie beginnings. Punks is still just scratching at the black ice surface of its potential. I hope mainstream North American comics has a place for this especially funny comic book. Read Full Review
Multiple vignettes that make up a whole lot of fun, Punks continues to entertain. Four issues in and the enjoyment I get out of it is constantly increasing. Hate rules? Than you will love Punks. Read Full Review
