What else is there to say about this book?Roche Limitis trying to tackle bold questions about human nature and how we can reach through to the better angels of our nature. The book's sci-fi setting brings human nature right to the foreground, paradoxically, by juxtaposing us against the cosmos. That alone should push this book into the status of a classic. All that aside, theres no doubt in my mind that Roche Limit: Clandestiny is an absolute shoe-in for a great many peoples Best of 2015 lists, myself included, and that the powerfully unique structure of Michael Morecis opus all but guarantees its place in the annals of classic comicbook sci-fi for years to come. Roche Limit: Clandestiny ends with a very strange reveal. This entire arc has been very interesting and very dark, dealing with human emotion, desire, and ideation mixed with savagery and violence. Charless art has been a great fit, and Battaglia has brought a color palette to give the whole thing a fantastic sensation. In the final pages, even more mysteries arise and, with a teaser final page giving a glimpse at what comes next, the creators leave readers with a lot to swallow and much to look forward to.
