    Royals continues to be one of my favorite series out from any publisher right now. I genuinely look forward to it coming up for review each issue. Kim and Perez are doing something unique with this series. Telepathy while not a new concept in comics has never quite been used like this. It’s clear that a high level of trust exists between Kim and Perez where they are jointly creating this story and playing off each other’s ideas. Read Full Review

    Beautiful, beautiful chaos is the name of the game in Royals #5, and if you’re a fan of some insane action, if you’re not already reading this series, you’re missing out. The action never really lets go, but does allow a few moments to breathe before bringing more of the good ol’ crazy.     Kim and Perez have nailed some really interesting moments over the course of the fifth issue that feel like they’re reinventing aspects of crime-based action fiction in a way that is still quite familiar and approachable. It all feels like it’s in the right space in the right place as Minah, Castor and Paul tumble through some more life-threatening heroics in the heart of a criminal empire. Crime-based action has been done so much that it tends to come across with a bit of a yawn in any format. Kim and Perez have found a sharp and original approach to the genre that makes it fun again.
