The Claw returns! the legendary villain from the Golden Age of comics strikes again! Malcolm Dragon joins forces with the Claw's most hated enemy--the Golden Age Daredevil in an effort to stop the notorious menace! Plus, we continue to look into the lives of the sons and daughters of Chicago's Vicious Circle. It's a tantalizing glimpse at the crime family they were born to inherit and the forces who oppose them.
The witty dialogue took me by surprise by what was said by certain characters, which made me have more respect for Larsen who is always keeping it fresh with cast & plot. While i am late jumping into the story, i really am eager to dig through back issues as there is plenty of intrigue, comedy, & action which I am very much looking forward to checking out more. Dragon is on trial, so it is up to his son and their allies to save the city from The Claw. Savage Dragon always entertains with its odd blend of violence, sexuality, and off-the-wall humor. A simplistic art style works for Larsen's story that sees the use of several public domain characters and allows for randomly tying up loose ends. Read Full Review
