You Don't Read Comics - Russ Bickerstaff

It's just really cool that these two particular writers happen to be working on something like this. Duggan’s work on Deadpool had been impressive. Wolfman had done incredibly influential work with Perez on The New Teen Titans and Crisis on Infinite Earths. It’s deeply appealing to see writers like this craft clever, little one-shots for a different spot on the new comics rack. Horror mixes with heroism and other strikingly satisfying package. Impressive stuff on a whole bunch of different levels. Once again, it really feels like something like this can just be an ongoing anthology. Great fun. Read Full Review

    AIPT - David Brooke

Super Creepshow #2 leans into its anthology roots with a mix of sharp satire and classic horror, though the results are uneven. Gerry Duggan’s opener stands out with a clever twist and a warped superhero world that sticks with you. The second story has strong visuals and an intriguing premise, but it moves too quickly to fully land its emotional beats. There is still plenty of fun to be had, especially for readers who enjoy horror with a sense of humor, even if not every story hits the same level. Read Full Review

The Comic Book Spot - beastfire

Super Creepshow #2 brings 2 more solid tales of horror with a superhero flavor, particularly “The Creepshow Two-In-One”. This issue may not be as strong as last time’s installment, but that’s the beauty of anthologies: that sort of mixed bag means there’s something for horror fans of every ilk, and I look forward to what the Creep provides next time.
