Overall, I really enjoyed this book, but I do feel the long wait may have harmed the seamlessness of the overall arc. That said, this is almost the perfect jumping on point for new readers, as it sort of serves as a prologue to the previous two issues " just bear in mind that once you have tracked down the back issues, you then have to wait until next year to read the next instalment of The Dying and the Dead. "The Dying and the Dead" #3 is part horror story, part Greek tragedy and part "Lord of the Rings," with the Bah al'Sharur playing the part of the One Ring. The plotting has a great combination of old tropes and new twists, wild daring and earnest outlook. That's good enough reason to have patience until the publication schedule is more regular in 2016. Still, The Dying and The Dead continues to be captivating storytelling in every regard. If you've been sleeping on it so far, you'd be forgiven for waiting until its 2016 comeback, and leave the waiting on bated breath for the rest of us suckers. Read Full Review

A story of monsters and gods. This issue is giving you the story of the weapon the men are on the hunt for. The art and coloring is on point. The story is a little slow churning but the pay off at the end is great.
