Wooooow those Sorrentino action pages are gorgeous. The Carter and Capt. page is gorgeous and the Black Widow's last panel is so beautiful and tragic. The story was super strong. It is time to be ramping down and you see that things are in motion for that. You just don't know what is up with those dream sequence story line. But I'm sure it'll be explained soon. Just an awesome story with a twist that is leaving everyone hungry for more. more

This was so bad. Widow got killed like an animal. Punisher working for HYDRA, unreadable fighting scenes (more particularly Frank vs. Nat) Captain America would not let Spidey beat him just like that, seeing Cap's shield break is not shocking anymore, Nadia says "The entire time she has been trying to prevent you from becoming a killer" even though she recreated the Red Room (and the Champions didn't know that Miles was trapped so how would Nadia know Nat has been keeping him inside), also Miles guesses the password because it was destiny, but he doesn't kill Cap? This is a mess. Making Sam Wilson return makes as much sense since he had zero impact as Cap. Oh! And turning Carol into Tony was always a mistake. What you need to make her is Carol. more

Beautifully written and drawn story. For once Del Mundo's art fit into the Avenger story line.

First Mark Waid comic I don't "HATE!!!" in years. The art of Mike Del Mundo, no surprise here, is amazing.

Del Mundo makes Waid's beautiful story look amazing. I just wanted more.

A nice solid issue.

This is definitely a series that is not afraid to do things different and take some chances. It makes it one of the more interesting titles to follow and one that I think will be talked about after it is really discovered. In this issue the crew are trapped in the Authors book of spells and need to find an unusual way to escape. Doctor Strange shows why even without his magic being strong, he is still the Sorcerer Supreme. There is some absolutely fantastic art that uses the trippy nature of the title to its advantage. Some fun humor with guest star Howard the Duck. Also an interesting cliffhanger involving Wiccan. more

I loved the Ben Johnny grouping.

This event has it all. This issue delivers the twists and the answers to some of the mysteries but only builds other ones so it is perfect drama. The dialogue can be much for some but i thought it was outstanding especially in the Tony ans Steve scene where it hit me. There is tons of action too so it isn't just text box after another.
3 artists but 3 tales and they all fit and by now feel at home in their own world.
It's a lot to cover and can have some issues pacing and jumping around but overall i didn't mind because as a whole this story is well done! I'm glad i'm reading this event which is something i haven't said in a while. more

I really don't get the praise for this book. The art is, for the most part, terrible. The prose is pretty good but the story itself isn't very exciting. Spencer keeps pushing back answers for redundant narration of lost hope and distrust. The overall story has been stretched out for too many issues; I feel this would have been better suited for a 5/6-issue series rather than 12 (including #0 and Omega). more

Is it long???? YES!!!! Does it have pacing issues???? YES!!!!!!!!!!!! Is it a gosh darn good drama with twists??? YES!!!!! Spender brings it to you in this issue of Secret Empire. It gives you quick answers to questions that arose last issues (mainly surrounding B-Man and Odinson). It also gives light to the dome people and Black Widow. On top of some resolution there is still mysteries to be uncovered and new twists at the end that you want. The art is sketchy. . . literally. LOL it could use polish, at one moment I thought Black Widow had a Yarmulke on, but that story carries it. READ IT LOVE IT and enjoy the show!!!! more

Pretty solid. Classic Deadpool mixed with Punisher. Honestly the best of both worlds and hopefullly one day they'll cross paths again.

The Patriot story by far is the best story out of the three. Is it great?? No. It's decent and it was a a character that I was wondering about. The Invaders story which was a hit last chapter was a total miss this issue. The art was odd but I think next story things should pick up. And the Hydra Bob?>??? It's Hydra Bob it's cannon it should be read at all costs. LOL

Light-hearted, action packed and full of gusto Secret Empire Underground was a great side story. I was wondering how the hunt for the shard was going and apparently it's going forward. I like the little bit of foreshadowing you saw and just the one line zingers are all great. The art from Koda and Fabela is good its just not my style but for this fast paced action you need something like that. Overall a great addition to the story. more

I don't understand why Rouge was acting out of character so much. I mean she's field leader one second and second can't be??? Makes no sense. I'm really enjoying the art of Jacinto and Bonvillain. I love how Bonvillain's coloring pops out of the blackness pretty swell.

Meh. That was a very long winded explanation about how Sam smuggles people. I'm like ok I don't buy it. lol I like Spencer just this issue was lacking. I'm hoping for better later on.

Not everybody is PC. Some people are still stuck in this archaic mindset that your color makes you superior over others. And it's more than you think. I really hope that Wilson pulls this story off right. It could mean a lot in getting people to see that everyone deserves fair treatment.
