This issue packs a lot of character into an action frenzy of an issue. It's a lot of fun! Read Full Review

Secret Empire: Underground #1 was a very charming adventure comic. The protagonists are likable, the action is cool, and the story manages to conclude itself in this single issue, meaning you dont even really need to read Secret Empire to understand everything that is going on. I can recommend this to anyone who is looking for a fun time with a team of underused Avengers. Read Full Review

It's really funny watching the team deal with an ally who sees them all as little more than servants. The only downside to that lighthearted take on the story is that none of the dramatic elements come together. Read Full Review

Light-hearted, action packed and full of gusto Secret Empire Underground was a great side story. I was wondering how the hunt for the shard was going and apparently it's going forward. I like the little bit of foreshadowing you saw and just the one line zingers are all great. The art from Koda and Fabela is good its just not my style but for this fast paced action you need something like that. Overall a great addition to the story.

A Savage Land safari nets the good guys a Kobik shard and us readers a lot of funny sass. This little adventure is a bit lightweight, but it's a lot of fun. Jeremy Whitley's script is humor-centric and Eric Koda's art is imaginative and vibrant. Sam Wilson starts getting slightly suspicious about his teammates, but plot developments for the wider, grimmer event are otherwise blessedly absent. Take a load off and enjoy a solid dinosaur-bashing vacation before we get back to the grim business of taking down Evil Steve.
