THE FINAL VENOM STORY!
The alien symbiote who bonded with Eddie Brock has been through a lot... but not nearly as much as he has coming. In a tale that literally spans over a trillion years, Venom travels the length of space and time as the last defender of life in the universe!

Honestly not sure how to review this, it is so indescribably insane in its narrative that its hard to out into words what I just read but it sure was a heck of a time reading it. It doesnt take itself tok seriously at all even though its telling an incredibly bleak story but it works. Gotta read it to belive it.

Great! This and Mauraders are the best dawn of x books.
THE HIGH PRICE OF A NEW DAWN!
X-Force is the CIA of the mutant world-one half intelligence branch, one half special ops. Beast, Jean Grey and Sage on one side, Wolverine, Kid Omega and Domino on the other. In a perfect world, there would be no need for an X-Force. We're not there...yet.

Tries too hard to be funny and fails.

This was a huge disappointment. There is no plot to this issue and left me thinking this is pointless and a waste of my time

The problem with this entire run is that it’s always ok. Never great, never bad just ok. That’s how I describe this issue just ok
"The Flash Year One" finale! This oversize anniversary issue marks the end of Barry Allen's journey to become the Flash-but at what cost? The Turtle's final play will challenge our hero in every way possible, and by the end of the battle, a Flash will be born-and a Flash will die! Also in this issue, witness Lex Luthor's offer to Captain Cold, whos...
I think 5-7 is average. Bad books get 4 and lower and good get 8 great get 9-10. I could’ve given it a 6 but it didn’t deserve lower. It’s a scoring system that I adopted from soccer where you start with a 6 and go up or down from there based on performance.
You know, I love elseworlds. They aren't restricted by strict continuity rules of the main DC universe. What stops Superman's capsule from landing in CCCP? Or Joker going sane and becoming a politician, backed by one Harley and fought by another? Or Flash going back in time to save his mom, creating a dystopian world where Atlanteans and Amazons went to war with each other, and that war lead the wmore
"City of Bane" begins! Bane's minions have moved into Gotham City, taken control and are ruling with an iron fist-including rounding up any villain who refuses to sign onto Bane's program-and Batman is nowhere to be found. At least not the Batman anyone knows. It's like someone has replaced the real Gotham City with a twisted funhouse-mirror versio...
Dropped.
I’m not wasting my money on a book with terrible dialogue and half baked ideas, incomplete story telling and changing character motivations. I’d rather spend my money on an indie book. I wish I picked up Kelly sue’s aquman when she started and dropped this then.

Spinning out of GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY #1, almost the entire galaxy's defenders have been blown through a black hole, including the Silver Surfer! But the story doesn't end there... In order to fight back the oblivion, Surfer will have to fight to save his own soul and not lose himself to the void. Follow the Sentinel of the Spaceways on a journey...
Exposition dump of an issue where King recaps everything that has happened from issue 1-50 of his run and explicitly tells us what he's doing because he thinks we are all stupid to not understand the greatness of his run so he needs to spoon feed us what he's doing. In the end this is another filler issue proving that he doesn't need 100 issues to tell his story.
"The Fall and the Fallen" part three! Is this the end of Gotham City? Bane's army of villains is taking over the city, and Batman's back is against the wall. With all the things Bane has done to him over the last year-from breaking up his wedding to trying to assassinate Nightwing, and then invading Batman's mind to expose his most terrible fears-c...
Issue had good art. However we’ve already seen this not too long ago where he fights everyone in Arkham about Bane. The dialogue was awful, like always. Is there a panel with Man-Bat even though he’s in JLD
n chapter one of "The Fall and the Fallen," Batman escapes his Knightmares only to wind up in a whole other bad dream. He's locked in Arkham Asylum with his worst enemies, and the only way to get out is to fight them all. It's a gladiatorial game of madness and mayhem, all for the amusement of Bane!
THE DARK GUARDIANS!

This was a fun issue, completely pointless and adds another month of nothing at all happening in this title, but fun. I would even go as far as to say it’s worth checking out.
The last assertion is saying a lot because this arc has been some of the worst writing in the title so far. Unfortunately due to its numbering it amounts to nothing but filler. If this were to have taken place b more
Batman is making his way to the end of his Knightmares, but his unseen enemy has a few more tricks up his sleeve. It's time once again to stick a knife into the Caped Crusader's broken heart, letting the groom-that-could-have-been peer in on the bachelorette (or should that be "Catchelorette"?) party that never was. Artist Amanda Conner (Harley Qui...
I can't believe that the guy that wrote vision and mister miracle is the same guy writing HiC. This issue is terrible. The dialogue continues to be juvenile, seriously why does every character have to insert like into every sentence. Also the transition from Mann's highly detailed art to a more cartoonish style doesn't work.
The Trinity may have uncovered the true killer responsible for the deaths at Sanctuary, but the artificial intelligence that ran the institution is the one thing standing between them and the culprit. Now Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman must face off with their own creation-and face the consequences for what they created. Also, as the truth is un...
Dialogue is clunky. The main character is American but talks like a Brit. Story is ok and is supposed to grab fans of action comics but the last three pages have nothing to do with anything else and are there to give background on Wyrd but it's just thrown in and doesn't have a connection to anything. Writing was poor in my opinion. I will not be continuing with this.
There are problems, cases, too strange for US law enforcement to solve. Pitor Wyrd is the one who solves them-for a fee, of course. An unaging, invincible detective with a penchant for the strange, Wyrd is the one the government calls when things go very badly and very strange.
This issue: Crimea. A failed attempt at recreating a certain ...
I feel dumber for having read this dialogue. Every character speaks like a 12 year old. They know words but not how to structure them in a sentence or say the same thing 5 different ways. Also to beat the flash all you have to do is say what's that. What is he a dog. How stupid is his rogues gallery to not figure that out.
I like how superman is making a speech to the world and ends it by s more
The secrets of the DC Universe are hacked! Sanctuary wasn't supposed to keep records, but now that the A.I. is compromised, superhero secrets are leaking all over the 'Net. Booster and Harley set aside their differences to focus on who they believe is the real killer (assuming one of them isn't lying, that is). Meanwhile, Batman and the Flash conti...

"FANTASY HEARTBREAKER," Part Two
Remember last time, when we said "Goth Jumanji"? As the bleak, austere fantasy-horror ramps up, we start underlining the word "Goth" in black marker until we cut a hole through the page.
Much better than the previous issue and a decent one shot. Story doesn't progress but atleast it refers to issue 60. The ending is interesting hopefully there is a good payoff. Art was great.
Now features the Story solicited for #61 written by Tom King with art by Mitch Gerads. The Eisner-winning creative team behind MISTER MIRACLE is back together as artist Mitch Gerads rejoins the Bat team for a special issue! Professor Pyg is loose in Gotham, and you know that means things are going to get weird... and bloody!

Wonder Woman versus...Booster Gold?! Diana finds out the hard way that Booster can be a formidable opponent when his back's against the wall. Of course, being the prime suspect in a superhero massacre and exposing a secret trauma hospital for metahumans will do just that. This was better than the last issue. A couple of problems with the art/script as the police try to arrest him, he is the first one to make a move and attack, and later they say it was the cops that attacked first which isn't shown in the art. They tried to show systemic racism in the police system but fail to actually show that properly on the story.

This issue is fine. My biggest problem with the series is that it is very slow moving. I'm trade waiting this series now as this will read better in trade than singles.
