Not bad, but it shows that King doesn't understands Batman. Like In Batman Incorporated, Bruce said that he supports Batman War on Crime. It was years ago, but I don't think a ex benefactor could be taken as a jury duty.

The clark/jon part seemed way off to me. Clark is more in tune with jon than this and Jon is way off! Jon has become a kid who is constantly talking back and not listening, which may be normal for a 10 year old, but not yhis 10 year old. If he acted like this before, supes would have forbid him from "playing" with damian.

myconius - Jul 13, 2018

great point DC Stuff! this change in Jon's behavior did not feel at all organic. it was a sharp left turn that sacrificed characterization. i mean even if Jon was just freaking out over his "possible future" we'd still see some glimmer of the how he acted before. people just do NOT completely change into a WHOLE other being. it's just that Bendis didn't bother or care enough about Jon to do his homework on him is all. at least his version of Lois seemed ok.

As a Fan of Slott, run I say I'm impressed. Destroying Spider Man life shouldn't be so fun, but it is. Parts from Peter Parker life is very good, and it shows that Spencer done his homework. Problem is with Spider Man part. Human Torch and Daredevil are both Spidey BFF's, so I don't get it. New villain is cool, and he appears to be much more than I thought. I give it A without plus.

Well, I'm not gonna deny, I am disappointed. I could have seen that this will happen. Because Tom is very good at manipulating emotions judging from previous stories, but I really wanted this marriage. Yes, it was wrong of DC to hype up the wedding and then it not happen. Yes, I'm pissed that it didn't. However, this is still a great issue of Batman.

Most of King's run has been hit or miss, but everything came together in this one. The duel narratives, the art reflective of Batman's history, and the emotion it contains. Most of the complaints seem to be about the wedding not actually more

I feel he cheated a bit with catwoman and batman being shown old and happily married into old age in that Annual issue... that stuff is canon right? so this story kinda obviously has a bright ending in my mind for the Bat/Cat romance.
