Don't force politics onto characters you write. Why is Alice talking about the "male gaze"? I am sorry but it is so ridiculous when you are reading a comic and something stupid like that takes you out of it. Other than that the issue was fine, a few flaws here and there.

Batwoman #17

By: Marguerite Bennett, Fernando Blanco
Released: Jul 18, 2018

Kate Kane's latest assignment is leaving her cold-it's a cold case that forces her to team up with GCPD Detective Renee Montoya, and which, as usual, has Gotham City running out of time. Is this the start of a beautiful crime-fighting partnership? No spoilers, but expect sparks and punches to fly!

The anti-King bias is incredible. This issue was freaking amazing. Nobody has ever written a better Batman than Tom King. I say that as someone who loves Batman more than any other thing and has read every single run. This issue was powerful as hell.
