This book really pulled it together in the end. It feels like some contemporary horror you would see on HBO.

It seems like this is going to be the big finale and that makes me a little sad. Hopefully Grant Morrison decides to do a Season 3.

“Sunshine Getaway”

“Indiana Quinn!”

Determined to prove her worth, Harley sets off to capture the prize for them both, but not before drawing in Batman and Batgirl in a thrilling and dangerous adventure across the globe!
This could have been so much better had it had a segment for each JL member, instead it retreads on old ground and doesn't say anything new about Batman.
“The Garden of Mercy” part two of two! For the first time, the Justice League explores the planet of the Black Mercy’s origin. One flower is enough to incapacitate even the strongest hero, but with an entire planet full of them, the Justice League must steel their minds or else succumb to the withering effects of the great tree at the core. W...

This felt so grounded. Almost like a Nolan version of what Adam Strange could be. With every issue the story escalates further and you can just feel the tension with every appearance of Adam and Alanna as the investigation goes on in the background. Doc Shaner and Mitch Gerads both kill it as always.
Throughout this series Alanna has felt very cold and scary, but given the past story an more

I only read the Dark Ages half. Dark Ages is looking to be Marvel's version of Injustice and the teaser tells us that by showing that nobody is safe. Unfortunately on its own the teaser is a little barebones, but Injustice fans know we are in for something incredible.
FCBD is headlined by a brand new X-Men story by Jonathan Hickman and Pepe Larraz that will lead into a game-changing summer for all of X! Plus: a secret second story foreshadowing an upcoming epic tale by Tom Taylor and Iban Coello. Stay tuned in the months to come for exciting announcements about Marvel's Gold title on freecomicbookday.com!...
Anyone who gets mad at character development that they won't agree with, stay away from this. However, I found the conclusion to this story pretty satisfying. It makes sense that Alfred being killed in front of Damian would have such a negative effect on him. He is only 13 years old. I'm interested to see this new direction he will go, and for any Damian fans upset... don't worry the status quo wimore
After Batman discovers the Teen Titans’ most shocking secrets, he arrives at Mercy Hall…and he wants a word with Robin. Don’t miss the confrontation between father and son that will alter the very course of the DC Universe. Will the Teen Titans ever be the same?
In this issue, Crush, Roundhouse, Kid Flash, and Red Arrow chase down Robin, who’s on the hunt for villains he thinks must pay the ultimate price for their crimes. With Batman also on the case, can the Teen Titans get to Damian Wayne before his father does?
Robin begins a hunt that leads him to the KGBeast, the same assassin who wounded and nearly killed the first Robin, Dick Grayson. Will Damian Wayne cross the line to enact brutal revenge on the Russian villain-or can the Teen Titans temper the current Robin’s rage?
This is my review of the entire arc. So this is a weird one... it isn't really a good story, or that well executed, but I can already tell it will be a very memorable one for how much of a thinking man's comic it is. It asks the question of many differing viewpoints and what the best course of action is. Immediately it is clear who Simon Spurrier's favourite Justice Leaguer is, as it is quite cleamore

“The Rule of War” part two! After the devastating events of last issue, the League is separated and labeled as alien visitors on a war-torn planet. As writer Simon Spurrier jumps on board for the start of the three-part tale “The Rule of War,” it’s close encounters…of a Justice League kind! After answering a distress signal from distant space, Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, the Flash, and Green Lantern discover an abandoned cargo ship full of young aliens! When the League attempts to ...
This is my review for the entire arc. So one thing immediately clear to me is that there are certain things Vendetti does better than Snyder with the JL and that is their personal relationships. Snyder wrote Batman and Superman's relationship fantastically, but kind of didn't touch on the rest of them as a web of friends. This is kind of what Snyder's time on JL was missing since it was more of anmore

Some of Jurgens' best work since Action Rebirth.
Jim Corrigan tackles what appears to be a run-of-the-mill murder investigation, but when he discovers the supernatural is at play, it becomes a job for the Spectre.
Loved the ending. 🐱
Nobody leaves the Dollhouse. All will be weighed. Only one can prevail.
Hill House Comics
The Dollhouse has taken away another piece of Alice's soul...but this time she's not running away. This time she's going to uncover the secret of the House's terrible birth...and use that knowledge to destroy it once and for all!
It was fun to look at, but not much of a hook to the story.
“End Of The Line”
When Harley dozes off on a Coney Island-bound subway, she finds herself in a corner of the city she never imagined… the X Train, a pirate-filled locomotive sailing the troubled waters of New York’s underground!
This was kind of fun.
Some people burn their ex’s belongings as a way of putting their past behind them. When Harley Quinn does it, she takes her whole apartment building with her, which causes more than a little friction with her roommate Poison Ivy, who’s something of a stickler when it comes to not almost dying in a fire. The legendary partners come to blows in t...
This gives me hope for the upcoming series. Perfect character work for the Harley Quinn of this universe.
