While Drowned Earth started really well, it didn't really follow it too well. Though it was a really enjoyable read, I always felt like something more could be done to make it feel as epic as it was (probably) intended to. I don't really liked the way it was resolved, but it was written pretty well, which I am ok with.

I stated why I keep reading the series multiple times in the past, Comix4fever . Because Harley, ironically, is my 2nd favourite comic character, and also, because often her Frank Cho variant covers are pretty great. Oh, and considering Harley changed writers more often than Batman tried to get married, there's still a glimmer of hope in me that one day we'll get someone who understands the character and doesn't just repeat the Palmiotti-Conner fan-fic formula.
