This is a perfect read to fill the void left by Black Bolt's ending. The artwork is quite similar (though definitely not as detailed), and the characterisation is just great.

Great reveal at the end. The writing and artwork work well together, even if there are around 80 different characters in this book.

I wasn't planning on picking the tie-ins, but this one got added to my pull list -- guess I'm picking them up after all. However, this wasn't a perfect issue by any chance - it's perfectly skippable, and provides only some minor background information about one of the stone's. The characterisation is decent, but there's definitely nothing you would miss without reading this one.

Infinity Countdown: Daredevil #1

Quite messy and pointless. Saved by Daniel's art, which is stunning as always. Still a fun read, but, as I've said, completely pointless. Remember Gotham Girl? Yeah, that was better.

By: Tom King, Tony Daniel
Released: May 16, 2018

"THE TRAVELERS" part three! As Booster Gold, Batman and Catwoman zero in on the time anomaly, what they find and their actions to correct it will have ramifications on all of the DC Universe. What happened? Quite a letdown after a great debut, though it's still somewhat decent. The story is interesting, but it feels as if there's too much stuff going on at once - though it may be due to McGuinness' art, which is definitely good, but may not be the best choice for such a story.

Tempted to give a higher grade just for being a really good free comic, but have to temper my praise with concerns over just where things are headed.

Joker: Given my overall dislike for King's Batman run - and the sheer stupidity that it's Batman and Catwoman getting married and not Bruce and Selina, and that it's something the Joker could even know - it's a good Joker story. Not Dini- more
