I haven't been following the main Avengers book in quite some time now. I haven't been following any of the other Avengers books either. Decided to still try this one out. And I must say it did not disappoint. This issue serves as an introduction and it's quite lengthy, but it's done quite well and made me interested in what's going to happen. I will probably be continuing this.

It's definitely been a while since I've enjoyed an issue of the Flash so much. Great and fun action with good characterization and overall progression of the story. Williamson again shows that Godspeed is the most interesting part of his run and made me remember how good the first arc of this book was. Scott Kolins is probably one of the best Flash artists, and I am wishing he will be back on this more

A decent fill-in oneshot, fleshing the background characters (or a character, I should say). Definitely not even close to Gene Luen Yang's writing, but definitely not something you should skip if you've been following the story.

I am really sure that I would have liked this quite more if it wasn't drawn by Booth. The story was fine, but it was more of a retelling of Booster's origin, without the plot not moving too much.

As a hardcore lover of The Watchmen and Alan Moore I was skeptical when this series was announced. I'm also a huge fan of Geoff Johns and Gary Frank so my hope was that this series would knock it out of the park. After reading the first two issues I'm officially onboard. Johns and Frank have gotten almost everything right. They recognized that Watchmen was, more than anything else, a mood pie more

Similar to Batman Lost, this oneshot serves to flesh out the story that was in the last issue of the main series. It's quite good, the writing is pretty strong and I found Hitch's art really good here. However, there wasn't much going on, but overall it's still a worthy read.
