One huge and very greatly portrayed action scene. Very decompressed, but I've actually enjoyed it. Will work a lot better in a collected edition.

This was great, loved every single page of this. A fun story, which works as a standalone story but also moves the main story forward as well. The dialogues were amazing, loving how Kid Cable somehow turned out to be a comedy relief character and it does work very well - maybe even well enough for me to not miss the proper Cable for a moment.

The story is very messy, especially considering that this is meant to be a 'new incarnation' of the team, a la a 'perfect jumping-on point'. But there's barely any set-up, the characters are just thrown straight into the action without any setup. Is Bendis going to go the same route as he did in Young Justice, where he sacrificed a coherent story to spend half of each issue telling some backstory more

I grew to look forward to the new issues of this book, even if some of them seem quite pointless, just like this one was. Last issue was very filler-ish, there's not need for two of them in a row. At least they're teasing something coming out of this.

The tone isn't as serious as in the most of the other DoX books, which is exactly what I was expecting from this book. And it was such a great read! Loving the characterisation of the roster, as well as the overall storytelling. I must also mention that Reis' artwork is absolutely stunning and is definitely a great nod to Bill Sienkiewicz's artwork in the original run.

Another win for DoX. This one's more action-oriented, with some gritty artwork (which I've really enjoyed, by the way), and more serious tone. The cliffhanger was well executed, even if quite pointless considering that the readers should know the status-quo by now (unless there's something more going on that we don't know about yet).
