RATED T+
‘Marauders' balances great science-fiction style world-building, deep discussions, a wealth of character development moments, and solid quick-paced brutal action all in one smartly build and paced issue. There is a ton of discourse to be found here but everyone involved makes it work as the visuals give us everything that the words aren't telling us and are a delight to look upon. A colorful gorgeous intriguing comic book is always a great thing to behold. Read Full Review
Marauders has done a decent enough job of setting up this current story arc, but I find myself pretty bored with how things have turned out so far. Read Full Review
This honestly made me fall asleep.
Marauders is a the book about getting Krakoan meds out into the world and saving mutants from the world that hates and fears them. So it makes sense that after an extended space jaunt we’re now embarking on time hijinks. More data pages of crap that don’t appear to be relevant to the Krakoan era ensue. If you were having difficulty differentiating the different characters because their faces are all depicted based off the same model (regardless if they’re man or woman, elderly or millennial, black or white) you get lucky here- our heroes now have their names emblazoned on their uniforms.
This is where I jump ship. Just horrible.
