At this point this series is basically a guaranteed 5 star issue after issue, the creative team behind this are the best in the business. Spawn has been one of my favourite characters in comics for many years and this series has opened my eyes to a whole world of fantastic characters. SCORCHED #19 works exceedingly well as a setup issue to move Spawn and Scorched into position while Senator Terminus makes his new soldiers ready for Earths judgment. The emotional drama and tension are sky-high, and the art is excellent. Read Full Review
Theres real potential in the premise behind the Scorched. The overall premise echoes some admirable reflections of Chris Claremont and H.P. Lovecraft and a few other really influential writers. The visuals have an undeniable power that shoots across the page. All of the right elements are clearly there. They just arent on the page in a way that feels at all interesting. Read Full Review
