    Not everyone issue of this series is amazing, but some are truly exceptional. The ones that rise above the rest contain a story that drains the reader of their emotions and is full of surprises. This issue simply has everything that makes comic books entertaining. This is an emotional roller coaster ride that is just a fantastic read cover to cover.     Carl's fate is, of course, the big question mark at the end of this book. With Carl's fate we have Rick's, as to pretend they're not inexorably linked at this point is to pretend insanity. But the truth is, there's far more carnage in this book than just Carl, and it's a must read, though a grim one to be sure. Read Full Review

    In the worst spots, panels look like they were inked by a marker. The problem seems to affect Cliff Rathburn as well. His gray tones are problematic in that there isn't enough contrast between shades. Skin tones and light areas both sport similar shades of gray. I like having a new issue of Walking Dead every month, but I'd rather wait a bit longer and let the artists deliver the best possible presentation each time. At such a crucial point in the Walking Dead saga, the book deserves no less. Read Full Review
