Maki's first love was her high school classmate, a girl named Midori. But Midori broke up with Maki at graduation, saying they were now "too old to be fooling around dating girls." Overall, Run Away With Me, Girlcomes to a mostly satisfying conclusion. While Im sure I wont be the only one disappointed by the way Tazunes story wraps up, I think the rest of the series has been strong enough to not let that problem ruin the whole thing. Mangaka Battan is clearly very talented and skilfully brings this series to its end with a final volume that leaves nothing unanswered.
