When a classmate finds out he's secretly a sentai star, Kaido's precious life as a regular high schooler is in danger of being stolen, and so's his heart. As time marches on for Kaido and Honda, the cracks in their post-high school life together grow bigger and bigger. They each try to chase their individual dreams, but miscommunication and arguments always seem to follow closely behind. While Kaido keeps up a brave face, Honda only closes off himself more, until he finally shuts Kaido out entirely...
The edition benefits from a beautiful blue colour page at the front and there are two pages of illustrated afterword from the mangaka at the end in which she refers to her first Boys Love manga Okama Box (theres crossover between the two) and I wonder whether, after Volume 4 of Super Morning Star is published (due in June 2024), Kodansha will bring us that title as well?
