Apr 04, 2026Dick Tracy is Dick Tracy so in some sense the character isn’t going to change regardless of the story plays out. That said, the first issue of this new gang war story arc is compelling for how much is developing beyond Dick Tracy himself. I have no idea how Pat Patton became Chief so quickly since he was on the force less time than Tracy, but overall, this is a good start to a new arc. I love Flattop being a bad guy and mowing people down. Framing Tracy is also a good twist. I just don't understand why he burned the money? Wouldn't he have to return it to the evidence room?
