Detective Aiden McCormick is still looking for the murderous Detroit Flayer. After finding a new piece of evidence in the original victim, Aiden is pointed in the direction of low-life criminal turned club owner, Remy Deux. Will Remy have any information worth Aiden's time or is this another dead end?
Even though it may be a familiar story, with the main character and Dystopian City, the art sets it apart hands down. Another interesting layer to this story is Aiden's arm. It is robotic of some sort and within one scene it seemed as if the "voices" have been controlling it. Or at least critiquing him on his fighting skills. Read Full Review
Midnight Task Force #2 was an improvement from the first one, continuing to boast the unique art style and supported by excellent character development. This is one mystery that's shaping up to be a page-turner. Read Full Review
I'm curious to see what happens with the story. I'm not in love with it quite yet, but there's enough here that's caught my attention. There's a lot of familiarity with the story, but time will tell if the creative team can add something new and stand on its own.
