    All of these really winning aspects of Amazing Spider-Girl are left in the dust after DeFalco concocts a real challenge for May Day Parker and Ron Frenz and Sal Buscema put decompressionist drivel to shame by showing that the language of super-hero books is action, action and more action. While the story in Amazing Spider-Girl is a good one, it's actually an extra animated and strategic rescue that makes May Day Parker's foray against Carnage positively gripping.
