Summary: The Black Knight summons the spirit of the first Black Knight to tell him of the high-stakes game being played between Kang & the Grandmaster. Yellowjacket, Black Panther & the Vision are sent to 1941 Nazi-occupied Paris, where they are met by the Invaders. The Black Knight mentally transports himself to the 40th century through his bond with his ebony blade. The Invaders are defeated when the Vision flies through them partially materialized. Kang & the Grandmaster are confronted by the Avengers, who have been freed by the Black Knight. Kang chooses to kill the Avengers rather than save Ravonna, & they are struck down & left lingering on the edge of death. The Black Knight strikes down Kang with his ebony blade, saving the Avengers' lives. After the Grandmaster returns them home, the Black Knight is made an auxiliary member of the team. more
