(Cover Date: May, 1969) Summary: Madame Hydra watches a reporter on TV discuss the death of Captain America. She recalls how she survived a war in Europe & how she became Madame Hydra. Still emotional, Rick is unable to tell the Avengers how Cap died. Nick Fury speaks at a memorial for Cap. Gas is released from the coffin, knocking Fury & the Avengers out. They are loaded into coffins by Hydra agents & taken to a cemetery, with Rick tagging along. Rick watches the coffins being placed into graves, when he is discovered by a Hydra agent. Suddenly, Cap appears on the scene with his motorcycle & fights against the Hydra agents. He has Rick shoot the gastank of his motorcycle, causing an explosion that takes out the Hydra agents.
