    If there's one thing to say about Captain Britain and MI:13 it's that this is a series that shouldn't end. Although this annual leans towards the second half in terms of story success, Cornell is a true genius when it comes to writing about the more obscure Marvel heroes. Let's hope his talent is spent on more exciting projects that tie-in X or Y because Captain Britain is a corner of the Marvel universe that shouldn't be passed over. Read Full Review

    **Mephisto makes what I think might be his first post-One More Day appearance, but decides not to screw with Brian's marriage, presumably because Captain Britain is unimportant enough that Quesada can just cancel the comic rather than flagrantly ruin the core concept. Read Full Review

    Tempted to say Avoid It for this based on how disappointing the Meggan half of the story was, but the backup story does go a long way to redeeming it and was much more in line with how the series typically reads. I do feel that this is probably something only current readers of the series or longtime fans of Meggan will enjoy, so I wouldn't go rushing out to pick it up as an introduction to the much talked about series. For that, go back and start with the first trade or this Vampire State storyarc. Read Full Review
