Sell this issue for $1 and you might get readers hooked on a few new titles. Give it away, and you'd be laughing. But charge $5 for the pleasure, and you're going to have quite a few readers feeling like they've been taken for a ride. Instead of getting me on board for The Initiative, this has soured me on the event considerably, and hasn't actually told me anything about it beyond the fact that there will be a few new books from Marvel coming out over the next couple of months. You'd think that the publisher would be keen to capitalise on the success of Civil War, but this isn't the way to go about it. Disappointing. Read Full Review
If the anti-climactic nature of Civil War #7 hadnt been enough to turn me off of Marvels plans for its super-hero line, then the unsatisfactory emptiness of this volume certainly would have done the trick. Read Full Review
