I'm a sucker for alternate futures and dimensions, especially when this involves alternate versions of established characters, and while this story arc has been full of this kind of content, it has at times lost its focus to explore this new world, and this issue was an example of that problem. With the news that this will be the final storyline the Dark Avengers get to enjoy before their title is cancelled, it's with a heavy heart that I have to say that this isn't one of the better issues of the series. It's basically an extended fight scene, and Parker does his best to make it interesting and a proper look at how our characters function together " badly, as it turns out. It's still good fun, but it isn't a particularly memorable issue, serving to move our characters around the board and get them in place for the final few issues that will bring everything to a close.
